Many students NEVER finish their dissertations

Life happens, the school year passes by, perhaps an unfortunate experience with a supervisor, and before you know it, you're under pressure and you're stressed...
The Get Back On Track programme offers you a safe space for resolving common dissertation challenges.

In a small group of students, we work methodically to resolve the content of master's and doctoral dissertations that most often land students in trouble.

Testimonials from previous students of the Get Back On Track programme

The programme gave me another chance and the structure to regain strength to look forward to the red gown.

The Get Back On Track Programme has really helped me to get back and continue with my Masters in Education.

The programme really brings one on track with new energy to finish the dissertation. The weekly sessions were very informative.

Who is the Get Back On Track programme for?

The programme is for masters and doctoral students in the process of doing their quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods dissertations who wish to accelerate their progress.

Whether you’ve been studying for some time or started recently, this programme will empower you with key skills for conquering high-level dissertation challenges.

About the Get Back On Track programme

The programme is limited to 10 master’s or doctoral students at a time.

It runs online a few times a year.

It works like this:

After you’ve signed up, we ask you to send us sections of the first three chapters of your dissertation (Introduction, Literature, and Methodology), or wherever you’ve reached in your work. This enables you to receive individualised guidance in the programme.

Each week you receive weekly content on the essential dissertation issues that we’ll be working through in coming meetings. You prepare the relevant section or chapter for each meeting, applying the principles of the guidance material to your dissertation.

We meet for 1-2 hours weekly online in the group where we discuss the key principles of the section or chapter. The sessions are interactive and you may choose to showcase your work.

We work methodically through the principles of the introduction, literature, and methodology chapters. We also discuss the analysis approach and methods suited to each student’s dissertation.

You may discuss other sections of your dissertation in your one-on-one sessions.

At the end of the three months you will receive one-on-one feedback on your much-improved work.

What an incredible resource you offer to graduate students Merle Werbeloff! Successful thesis or dissertation completion is the goal, and the support and guidance you provide is exceptional! Students are very fortunate to work with you and learn from your expertise!

Professor Linda Bloomberg
